Dr. Juan Sánchez Muñoz

The University of Houston-Downtown prepares to welcome Dr. Juan Sánchez Muñoz as its sixth president. After a national search, Dr. Muñoz emerged as the sole finalist among a number of talented candidates. He is an experienced higher education administrator and educator who has held posts at public institutions in Texas and California. Dr. Muñoz is committed to the success of students and enhancing the institution. The Gator community looks forward to his arrival on campus and working alongside him as he propels UHD to new levels of excellence.
