Give To Gators Campaign Kick-Off

Love is in the air. GatorLove that is.

The Give To Gators Campaign is back! All faculty and staff are invited to support our students and programs through charitable giving. Over the past nine years, more than 1,000 faculty and staff members have come together to invest over half a million dollars in our scholarships, programs, departments, and Colleges.

Here’s a 2022 campaign recap:

  • 35% of UHD employees participated in the 2022 campaign—surpassing 2021.G2G New Logo
  • More than 400 faculty and staff members donated or pledged amounts ranging from $1 to $3,600 to support 109 different funds.
  • Collectively, gifts and payroll deduction pledges totaled nearly $63,000.

Where and how much to give is your choice. Popular funds include Food for Change Market, UHD’s General Scholarship Fund, and campus favorites—the Library Excellence Fund and the IT Scholarship Fund. Joining the lineup is the new Determined Gator Fund.

“Our Campus Community is defined by our culture of caring,” stated President Blanchard. “Every single UHD staff and faculty member is focused on Student Success. Their generous contributions to the Give To Gators annual campaign provide the financial foundation for the programs and scholarships that our students need. In that way, our culture of caring comes full circle to ensure that UHD students succeed.”

To commence the campaign, UHD Annual Giving with Voya Financial is inviting all faculty and staff to the #GatorLove Kick-Off Luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, in Academic Building, A300. RSVP Today!
