SGA Announces 2017-18 Officers and Senators

The 2017-18 Student Government Association (SGA) election process concluded on April 14. During the Annual One Main Event at Hotel ZaZa, the certified results were announced by the election commissioner Iliana Barrera and election clerk Rolanda Frank.

Taking the top two spots for the 38th Student Government Administration is Faryal Gul, president, and Armita Tajadod, vice president.

The following college senators were elected: Ignasio Hernandez, College of Sciences and Technology; Aileen Sanchez, College of Sciences and Technology; Elizabeth Bosquez, College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

This year's SGA elections presented candidates who displayed dynamic initiative and were passionate in their ideals of ways to bring about a different culture for the students at UHD.
