Scenes From "Almost, Maine"
The O’Kane Theatre presented, “Almost, Maine,” from Oct. 25 to Nov. 3.
Almost, Maine (by John Cariani), a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn’t exist.
This O’Kane production features 16 student actors; a backstage crew; set, lighting, and sound design by Adam Spencer, UHD technical director and lecturer; and costume designer Laura Winslow, UHD lecturer in drama.
Also this fall, O’Kane Theatre will feature “One Acts” performances—excerpts/scenes from full-length plays—at 8 p.m. on Nov. 29, 30 and 31.
For more information, contact the O’Kane Theatre Box Office at 713-226-5597. Tickets are $5.
