Cornel West, civil rights activist, philosopher and Princeton professor emeritus, will deliver a public address at the UHD campus on Friday, Nov. 6. A distinguished scholar and provocative public figure, West is well known for his works, "Race Matters" and "Democracy Matters." He has collaborated with musicians and politicians alike on projects that address important issues that face America and is a frequent guest on the Bill Maher Show, Colbert Report, C-Span, and CNN.
