Regent Mendoza, President's Community Engagement Award and More at High-Impact Practices Showcase

This year's High-Impact Practices Showcase was full of faculty, staff and student presentations and table displays, visits from UHD President Flores and UHS Regent Paula Mendoza, and the presentation of the inaugural President's Community Engagement Award.

During the Showcase luncheon, Dr. Flores awarded the President's Community Engagement Award to Judith Harris, Maria Bhattacharjee and Paulette Purdy for their service to the University and surrounding community.

As part of Scholars Day and in conjunction with the Showcase, Chuck Jackson led a "sample class" of 15 entering UHD Scholars, high school seniors who have received scholarships to attend the University.

Check out pictures from this very busy day!
