Property Management Offers Surplus Property to Faculty and Staff

If your department is in need of some additional furniture or office equipment (non-IT) but does not have the budget to go out and purchase it, UHD Property Management has a significant inventory of office furniture that is in excellent condition. This surplus property is available for use on the UHD campus only, it is not for personal use off campus. The State of Texas procedures encourage the reuse of property within the university. Items in this area are available for use on a first come, first served, as-is basis.

To make an appointment to see what is available, please email Stephen Kidd or send an email to DT_FacilitiesWorkRequest to request a visit to the surplus property area. You will mark the items desired and facilities will deliver them to your department.

Available property includes:

  • Chairs
  • Tables
  • Bookshelves
  • Podiums
  • File Cabinets
