Dozens of students gathered today in the Student Activities Lounge to participate in the latest dance craze - the Harlem Shake.

This YouTube sensation is taking college campus across the nation by storm and UHD is the latest participant. Organized by freshman student Ivan Canales, the event was intended to foster school spirit.

"I saw videos online of other schools doing this dance and I thought that organizing our own version would be a great way to promote UHD school spirit," Canales said. To gather the necessary crowds, the enterprising Canales set-up a Facebook page inviting any and all students to join in the revelry.
