Professor Talks Storytelling on Radio Show

So, what's your story?

Hank Roubicek, arts and humanities professor, asks this question to many of the guests that visit his popular radio show - by the same name. Hosted on KPFT 90.1 FM every Monday at 6 a.m., the show is focused around the art of storytelling - Roubicek's specialty.

His guests this week included none other than English Professor Michael Dressman, who spoke about the enchanting bedtime stories he tells his grandchildren, and Roubicek's UHD student intern, Lauren.

Dressman attributed his ability to communicate well with others and his subsequent storytelling skills to moving around a lot as a child and being one of eight children.

Listen here as Dressman tells his stories, which include mischievous bears, naughty crows and a life lesson or two.
