Dr. Ray Wright, professor emeritus of philosophy, passed away Monday. Wright was hired as a faculty member and appointed as chair of the humanities division of South Texas Junior College in 1974. He was promoted to professor in 1994, and retired in 1998. Wright also taught at Gangxi Normal University in Guilin, China.
