Gene Preuss, associate professor of social sciences, participated in a roundtable discussion for Houston Media Source last week, in which they addressed the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The discussion explored the history and the future of this landmark civil rights legislation. Other participants included Christina Sanders from the Texas League of Young Voters and Linda Vega from Latinos Ready to Vote.
