Dear UHD Students, Faculty & Staff,

Candidates for the position of UHD President are scheduled to visit campus in the coming weeks, and UHD Community members will have opportunities to meet them during upcoming forums (conducted virtually and in person).

Forums have been scheduled with candidates Dr. Junius J. Gonzales, Dr. Rhonda M. Gonzales, and Dr. Antonio D. Tillis. A fourth candidate will be announced on Nov. 18.

Candidates, forum dates and RSVP links are as follows:

Dr. Junius J. Gonzales - 3 - 4 p.m., Nov. 16

Dr. Rhonda M. Gonzales - 3 - 4 p.m., Nov. 19

Candidate TBA – 3 – 4 p.m., Nov. 23

Dr. Antonio D. Tillis - 3 - 4 p.m., Dec. 1

All UHD Presidential Candidates Forums will be conducted from UHD’s Wilhelmina Cullen Robertson Auditorium. Community members can participate in these events virtually or in person (although capacity is limited). To attend these events in person (with mask and distancing protocols in place), email SpecialEvents@uhd.edu.

The participation of students, faculty and staff is essential in identifying the next leader of UHD, and your attendance (either virtually or in person) is invaluable to the search process.
