President Flores Appointed to HACU Governing Board

drfloresThe Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities announced this week that Tomás D. Morales, president of California State University, San Bernadino, will be the new chair of its governing board, and confirmed four other governing board officers and two new board members.

University of Houston-Downtown president William Flores will serve as the board's secretary for the 2014-2015 term. Other confirmed board members include vice chair Rita Cepeda, chancellor of San José Community College District; treasurer Rev. Monsignor Franklyn M. Casale, president of St. Thomas University; and past chair Jorge Ivan Vélez-Arocho, president of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico.
