Update: One Main Event Rescheduled for April 30

The University of Houston-Downtown’s signature celebration, One Main Event, will bring back the sleek style of the 50s for a modern crowd on Friday, April 30 from 6 - 9 p.m. Channeling the coolest cats from the decade when Rock ‘n’ Roll took center stage, this year’s celebration will encompass a 50s sock hop theme, including drive-up diner food, music, a photo booth, and the coveted annual awards.

One Main Event is an awards program hosted by Student Activities and recognizes organizations and individuals whose contributions to UHD enhance student life and create positive change. Awards highlight organizations, students, faculty and staff who have shown tremendous commitment, character and hard work throughout the academic school year.

The event will be held at the Daly parking lot, 1543 Daly Place, and is open to all students, faculty and staff. Only one ticket is required per car, and they are available online. For meal purposes, the University will need to know how many people will arrive in each car.

For more information, visit the Student Activities website.
