Omer Publishes Poetry Book in Urdu

UHD accounting professor Khursheed Omer recently published a book of poetry entitled "Chashm-e.Num" (Tearful Eyes) in his native language of Urdu.

Omer, a native of India,has been writing poetry since 1966 and was convinced by his family to publish a collection of his work. He said that his poetry is the expression of his thoughts and feelings about what's happening in the world today and contains very deeply felt sentiments.

The Urdu language contains elements of Persian, Hindi and some Arabic and is the national language of Pakistan and widely spoken in India.
