Notice of Required Power Outage, Electrical Maintenance During Winter Break

UHD Facilities Management will need to shut down power to all of the buildings that comprise the campus core – the One Main Building, Academic Building, Girard Street Building and the Student Life Center – in order to perform needed electrical system maintenance during a three-day period of the upcoming Winter Break. The power outage will begin at 6 a.m.on Saturday, Dec. 28 through 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30.

During this period, the Information Technology (IT) division will be utilizing UHD’s redundant Data Center to provide uninterrupted access to all of the technology required to support the Winter term (Bb, Outlook, MyUHD, PeopleSoft, other). Between now and the shutdown there will be additional information provided by IT and the UHDPD.
