No-Cost Flu Shots Available For Eligible Faculty and Staff

Flu season is just around the corner and there is no better time than now to get a flu shot. However, you don't need to make a special trip to your doctor or local clinic this year. The flu shot is coming to you.

In collaboration with UnitedHealthcare and Walgreens, UHD will offer flu immunizations at no cost to benefits-eligible employees who are HealthSelect participants.

The clinic will be held in the Special Events Center (A-300) on Thursday, Sept. 25, between 10 a.m. and noon.

Flu shots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure sufficient supply, please register online.

In addition to registering online, make sure to:

  1. Print and complete a Vaccine Administration Record (VAR) consent form.
  2. Bring the completed Vaccine Administration Record (VAR) consent form and your UnitedHealthcare HealthSelect insurance card to the clinic.

Flu vaccines are also available to students, faculty and staff at the Student Health Clinic, room S-445 for only $20. Vaccinations will be given on a walk-in basis during regular business hours.

For more information on the flu vaccine, please visit Walgreen's flu shot website.
