More than 550 Prospective Students Visit Campus for Fall Open House

UHD delivered another successful Open House for prospective students and their guests on Saturday. The Admissions Outreach team credits this success to the dedication and hard work of the student, faculty and staff volunteers who helped to arrange the event.

Associate director Courtney Lundgren thanked the participants. "Thank you for your dedication and hard work in the execution of this event. You helped to make it a truly appealing and engaging event, and we are greatly appreciative of your commitment to the success of Open House."

More than 550 visitors attended the event, the largest turnout for fall Open House in recent years. Attendees learned about the admissions process, financial aid and the many opportunities available at the University of Houston-Downtown.

The Office of Admissions seeks to continually improve the program, and has requested feedback. All participants are invited to complete the Open House survey and share candid feedback about the event by Friday, Oct. 31.
