METRORail Service Impacted By Downtown Construction This Weekend
On Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, METRORail service will be modified along all METRORail lines beginning at the start of service until 7 p.m. due to construction work in the downtown area.
Temporary adjustments to rail service will take place at the METRORail Red Line and the METRORail Green/Purple Lines.
The University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) is located between the affected areas of the Red Line--which is from the Burnett Transit Center/Casa de Amigos to the Downtown Transit Center.
A free METRO bus shuttle will run every 10 minutes providing uninterrupted service to riders.
METRO's TRIP App and Next Bus Arrival Texting service may not reflect accurate departure and arrival information during this time. Please monitor METRO's Twitter and Facebook pages for timely updates. METRO also offers real-time information through its service alerts system.
