METRO to Test North Line

Houston METRO will begin towing a light-rail train on the North Line starting at the end of May. This test will ensure that light-rail trains can safely travel along the tracks. To support public safety, particularly at intersections, the train will be towed no faster than five miles per hour and will be accompanied by METRO police. Drivers and pedestrians should take extra precautions when near the North Line tracks.
