This weekend, the new North Line extension will go into service, offering Houstonians and the UHD community greater access to the city.

At 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, the North Line will be open to passengers to travel the five-mile track between UHD and the Northline Transit Center. METRO is also hosting a Grand Opening celebration at UHD the same day. All rides on the North Line will be free on opening day.
