Mensaje del Rector: Extrañando Nuestros Gators

Estimados estudiantes, facultad y personal,

Espero que esta nota encuentre a todos en buena salud y que esté aprovechando al máximo las solicitudes de actual de Stay at Home emitidas por el condado de harris y el Gobernador. Es cierto que he estado equilibrando el tiempo entre mi espacio de trabajo y mi oficina en UHD.

Estoy encantado de volver a nuestro campus y ver los lugares de interés familiares (el nuevo pared de gator, flores cerca de el colegio de ciencias y tecnología, luces azules en el edificio principal uno, el horizonte del centro de la ciudad), algo ciertamente falta de UHD en este momento ... Todos ustedes.

La Universidad es un lugar diferente sin nuestros gators. El normalmente ocupado tercer piso de el edificio principal uno está ahora en silencio. La música y la risa que ocupan el área de actividades de estudiantes no se encuentra en ninguna parte. Y las cubiertas norte y sur están vacantes, que es una pena teniendo en cuenta el reciente hermoso clima.

UHD no es lo mismo sin tu energía y entusiasmo. Creo que el video de arriba perfectamente captura el ambiente (o la falta de ella) en el campus en este momento. Todos ustedes se definitivamente perdidos, y soy optimista de que nos reuniremos a su debido tiempo. Hasta entonces, continuan estar en la casa, centrarse en sus estudios y mantenerse saludable.
