UHD men's and women's soccer club teams have high hopes as they prepare for the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) Region IV South Tournament this weekend at the University of Texas at Dallas. To read how the men's team advanced to the tournament, click here. The women's team also received an NIRSA tournament bid, the first in the team's history.

The men's team will face Texas State University at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, and Lamar University at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.

The women's team will face the University of Texas at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, Texas Christian University at 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, and Louisiana State at 4 p.m. Saturday.

The top two men's and women's teams in this tournament advance to the national championship in Phoenix, Ariz. Nov 16 through 19.
