Marilyn Davies College of Business Receives Several Rankings
The University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) has received recognitions for its online degree programs offered by the Marilyn Davies College of Business.
National higher education website OnlineColleges.com ranked UHD’s online Business Administration degree programs No. 6 in the state and the University is named as one of the “10 Best Online Schools in Texas,” for the quality of its online business education offerings, affordability and success rates, provided by the U.S. Department of Education National Center for Education Statistics.
The site also noted that the variety of online business degree options UHD offers makes it “readily apparent why this school makes our list of the best online business schools in Texas.” In addition, the success of students in the undergraduate degree completion program in retailing and consumer sciences and the Bachelors of Business Administration programs helped the University earn its ranking.
UHD also is ranked at No. 11 by OnlineDegrees.com as one of the “Best Online Schools in Texas for Business Administration.” This website highlighted the range of services offered to students, including access to academic advisors, and its joint admission partnership with Lone Star College allowing students to be simultaneously admitted and co-enrolled at both UHD and Lone Star College.
Study.com recognized UHD with a No. 42 ranking as “Best Business Degrees Online Programs” for its multiple undergraduate and graduate online degree completion programs for students who have finished their core coursework at another college or university.
UHD bachelor’s degree classes offered online include: Finance, General Business, Insurance and Risk Management, International Business, Management, Management Information Systems and Masters of Security Management courses as part of its online curriculum.
