Longtime Adjunct to Retire

Gwendolyn Strong Scott, adjunct professor of psychology, has recently announced her retirement following this semester. Scott taught 17 years in the University of Houston system, including 13 years at UHD, three years at UH, and one and a half years at UH-Clear Lake.

Scott brought a wealth of experiences and expertise to the campus. She worked in private practice for over 20 years and for various non-profit organizations. She also worked for several hospitals, as director of substance abuse programs.
