Latinas Achieve Hosts Self-Care & Wellness Workshop and Mixer April 14

This Spring, UHD’s Center for Latino Studies announced the return of its signature mentorship program, Latinas Achieve.

On Saturday, April 14, from noon to 2 p.m., Latinas Achieve is partnering with UHD Sports & Fitness for its next mentor-mentee networking workshop and mixer focused on self-care and wellness for Latina/e students, alumni, and Houston professionals.UHD Social Image (no text)

After learning about ways to prioritize self-care and overall wellness, attendees will participate in a networking mixer on a patio with downtown views, enjoy light bites, and go on tours of UHD’s new Wellness and Success Center.

We especially encourage alumni who were enrolled between 2019-2021 to join us—you may be eligible for a FREE alumni membership if you paid student fees during the construction of the new Wellness & Success Center!

Students who are unable to attend this event but are interested in participating with Latinas Achieve can connect with other professionals and students in Latinas Achieve by joining the Latinas Achieve LinkedIn Group.
