Landing Theatre Company Presents Classic American Play

UHD's theatre company in residence, the Landing Theatre Company will present "American Buffalo" Aug. 3 through 28 at the O'Kane Theatre as part of its summer festival. Tickets are available online at www.landingtheatre.org or at the door before each performance and range from $5 for students to $15 or $20 for adults.

The play chronicles the plotting of a robbery by three friends in a junk shop. The shop owner, Don, sold a rare coin for far less than it was worth and plans to seek revenge on the purchaser by stealing it back.

Landing TheatreKevin Holden directs a cast, which includes Steve Irish, Matt Hune and Drake Simpson. The production also features scenic design by Frank Vela, costume design by Pat Covington, lighting by Jerome Choate and sound by Jasmine Zapeda.

On Aug. 13-14, the company will present staged readings of "Rushing Roulette," a new play by A. Xandréa Shane.
