Summary

By Laura Wagner

Last Thursday, 222 Gators took the opportunity to talk to 20 departments about on-campus jobs at the Campus Jobs for Gators Job Fair. UHD Dining Services, UHD Bookstore, Sports & Fitness, and the Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning were just a few of the represented departments. A representative from the Office of Scholarship and Financial Aid was also in attendance to helps students determine their federal work-study eligibility.

Couldn’t make it to the fair? Don’t despair—it’s not too late! The on-campus job of your dreams is still waiting for you.

Take a look at the photos above to see some of the friendly faces in the hiring departments, then reach out to the Main Career Center or the Marilyn Davies College of Business Career Center to find your best opportunity. (And if your résumé needs a little zhuzzing before you apply, those centers can help with that, too!)

Hiring managers: All of the departments that participated in the fair recommended 100% that other departments participate next year to find student workers. Mark your calendars!
