In an effort to provide students with additional high-impact educational experiences, the UHD chapter of the International Business Association (IBA) recently traveled to the Federal Reserve-Houston Branch for an educational field trip.

The program included a presentation by Susan Kizer, economic education coordinator of the Houston Branch, a question-and-answer session, a video presentation of the Federal Reserve, and a guided tour by James Colunga, Federal Reserve public relations officer. About 35 undergraduate students, three faculty members and eight MBA students attended the event. The event was planned and organized by Anisul Islam, IBA faculty advisor and coordinator of international business degree program at UHD.
