Homecoming 2019: Gators Throwback

Summary

By Emily Conrad

UHD’s 2019 Homecoming Week is here!

This year’s theme, “Gators Throwback,” celebrates all UHD Gators past and present. The weeklong festivities begin Oct. 14 with a students vs. staff volleyball game and concludes with the much-anticipated Tail-Gatoring event on Oct. 19.

UHD offices and departments are encouraged to participate in the Office Decorating Contest during Homecoming Week. The winners will be announced during the pep rally on Wednesday, Oct. 16. Last year’s winner was the Career and Development Center.

This is the sixth year Homecoming has been celebrated at UHD.

“Homecoming at UHD started in 2014 an effort to create a sense of school pride and spirit on campus in a week-long celebration of all things UHD," said Richard Sebastiani, director of UHD Sports & Fitness.
