High-Impact Practices Showcase Calls for Presentations

The second annual High-Impact Practices Showcase will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, April 29, in A300. The Steering Committee would like to invite faculty and staff who have instituted HIP's in UHD courses or through extra- or co-curricular educational experiences for students to share poster sessions or brief presentations with the UHD community as part of our Showcase.

The Committee is arranging student programming and remarks from President Flores for the morning. Faculty and staff poster sessions will be from noon to 1 p.m. and presentations from 1 to 2 p.m., with time slots ranging from 10 to 15 minutes depending on how many proposals are received and accepted. A light lunch also will be served. Student involvement in these poster sessions and presentations is encouraged. For more information about high-impact practices, see http://library.uhd.edu/highimpact.
