The University of Houston-Downtown is partnering with HEB to offer free vaccinations to the UHD Community in June.

The first dose of the Moderna vaccine will be offered on Wednesday, June 9 with the second shot being administered on Wednesday, July 7. UHD’s Welcome Center will serve as the vaccination site between 9 a.m. and Noon.

Registration is required to receive a vaccination. Free parking will be available it the city parking lot on Girard Street (across from the Girard Street Garage/Welcome Center) during both events.

On the day of the no-cost vaccinations, those with insurance benefits need to bring a copy of their insurance card. Those without insurance will still be able to be vaccinated, but will need to provide their Social Security number on their consent forms per government guidelines.
