Healthy Habits Take Center Stage at UHD Health Fair

The latest edition of the UHD Health Fair was a success, as several hundreds of pounds of food (donated by the Houston Food Bank) was served to students, faculty, staff, and local community members. Fifty health and wellness vendors were on hand to educate attendees, including various departments within UHD that cater to the health and well being of students.

The event, held biannually, was sponsored by several departments, including Sports & Fitness, Community Engagement & Service Learning, Student Leadership & Involvement, the Basic Needs Center, and the UHD Wellness Committee. More than 75 students, faculty, and staff volunteers also assisted in making the fair a success.
