Over 530 graduation candidates for the December 2013 commencement enjoyed mingling with classmates, picking up and decorating their caps and gowns, and sampling refreshments at the November Cap and Gown Receptions this weekend.

Fifty alumni volunteers helped make this event a great success, according to Jaha Williams, director of individual giving and alumni relations. Special guest speakers Andrea Shiloh and Erik Ibarra were great examples of successful UHD alumni.
