Volunteer and Earn Free Brews & Cheers at the Saint Arnold Art Car IPA 5K & 10K!

Do you like helping others? Do you like free beer? If so, then the 10th Annual Art Car IPA 5K & 10K is the event for you, as UHD and Saint Arnold Brewing Company are again joining forces at 8 a.m., Sunday, April 7, for the annual Art Car IPA 5K & 10K, an event that celebrates Houston’s Art Car tradition and Saint Arnold’s beer. 

Race volunteers are needed for various dates and times. Volunteers will receive free beer (if you’re 21 or older of course!), event swag, and a party pass. The event party pass includes not only free beer, but a T-shirt, access to the party area, a pint glass normally reserved for race finishers, and three (that’s right, three!) Saint Arnold beverages to fill your pint with. 

The following volunteer options are available: 

  • April 3-5: Hand out packets to runners at various Greater Houston locations (see registration link for exact locations) 
  • Saturday, April 6: Hand out packets to runners at the Wellness & Success Center 
  • Race Day Duties, Sunday, April 7: 
    • Volunteer check-in at Saint Arnold Brewing Company 
    • Course monitors (direct runners during run) at ENDVR Active Community 
    • Water stop on 5K course (set up/take down water tent, pass out water) at ENDVR Active Community 
    • Finish line team (distribute ­finisher medals to runners crossing the ­finishing line) at Saint Arnold Brewery
