Gator Grit Series Spotlights Public Education

The next lecture of this year's Gator Grit Series will spotlight Leading Public Education, Challenges and Opportunities will feature UHD Alumni and HISD Trustees Sergio Lira and Elizabeth Santos.

Now in its second year, the event will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 18 in the Welcome Center's TDECU Tour Room.

UHD's Gator Grit Speaker Series highlights regional leaders, showcasing examples of grit that inspires courage, resolve and tenacity within both UHD and the Houston community.
