Gallery Exhibit Captures Spirit of Joseph Brodsky

The O'Kane Gallery's latest exhibit, which opens today, is a collection of photographs by Canadian artist Ewa Zebrowski that capture the spirit of Russian poet Joseph Brodsky.

According to the Gallery, "Zebrowski's photographs of Venice, appropriately in black and white and with an intermingling of text, pay homage to the Russian poet's vision and form a dialog with Brodsky through Zebrowski's own thematic concerns reflecting the passage of time and memory."

The exhibit, "remembering brodsky," will run March 22 through April 19. An opening reception will be held at 6 p.m. tonight in the Gallery, third floor, One Main Building. The Gallery is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.
