Flores Takes Position as Research Fellow With UH

Bill Flores, Ph.D., former president of UHD, has joined the University of Houston (UH) as a research fellow in the Institute for Educational Policy Research and Evaluation (IEPRE) in the College of Education.

This position will enable Flores to devote time to conducting research in higher education equity, access and affordability. Flores, who holds doctoral and master's degrees from Stanford University in social theory and public policy, has significant expertise in these areas.

"We're very fortunate to have someone of Dr. Flores' caliber take on this challenging new task," said Catherine Horn, Ph.D., executive director of the IEPRE. "Given his background and successes at UHD, he brings a wealth of experience to this position."
