Finance Professor Earns $15k Research Award

The Institute for Financial Markets awarded Ohaness Paskelian, an assistant professor of finance in the Finance, Accounting and Computer Information Systems department, a $15,000 research award to conduct the research project entitled "The Tale of Two Regulations - Dodd-Frank Act and Basel III, will they prevent a future crisis? A comprehensive analysis of the two regulatory frameworks."

Founded in 1989, the IFM is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing balanced and unbiased information to industry professionals, market-users, investors and those who shape and implement public policy for the financial services industry.
