Family Members of Murder Victims to Lead Dialogue on Death Penalty Oct. 12

The Center for Public Service and Family Strengths (CPSFS) and the Professional Society of Criminal Justice Students will welcome to campus "Journey of Hope: From Violence to Healing," on Monday, Oct. 12, 1-2:30 p.m., in Robertson Auditorium (A300).

Led by the family members of murder victims, Journey of Hope is an organization that tours the country, educating the public on the alternatives to the death penalty. Journey "storytellers" recount their tragedies in order to open dialogue on the death penalty and encourage others to choose "the path of love and compassion for all humanity."

For further information regarding this public event, contact CPSFS Director Jennifer Rowland.
