After months of waiting, debating and campaigning, it all comes to a head tomorrow as the nation heads to the polls for Election Day 2012.

We encourage UHD faculty, staff and students to exercise their right to vote by visiting one of the numerous polling locations across the city. Also, don't forget to finish the ballot! There are numerous propositions at the end of the ballot that should not be passed over.

The UHD community should tune in to KRIV (FOX 26) Tuesday from 6 - 9 p.m. and watch as Dr. Adolfo Santos, special assistant to the UHD president and chief liaison officer, will offer live political commentary on the election as the results come in across the nation. He'll discuss everything from the importance of the Hispanic vote in this election, to the importance of key swing states, such as Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Wisconsin and more.
