Enterprise Holdings Foundation Supports COB Initiatives

Thursday, June 2, the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) College of Business (COB) Career Center received a generous gift of $5,000 from Enterprise Holdings Foundation.

The gift was presented by Beth Allday¸ talent acquisition manager for Enterprise Holding Inc. She thanked the career center team for their support and partnership. Brett Hobby, director of the COB Career Center, accepted the gift, which will support COB career center initiatives. Hobby was joined by Maxine Todd, COB MBA career counselor, in acknowledging Enterprise's dedicated financial support and continued commitment.

"We are so pleased with and thankful for this gift," said Hobby. "The funds will help us continue to bring high quality career-related programming to UHD College of Business students. He continued, "Enterprise has been a consistent supporter of the UHD College of Business over the years. We are pleased they continue to invest in our vision."

The services, programs and events produced by the College of Business Career Center help students develop effective job search skills and strategies, and connect students with employers seeking candidates for full-time positions, internships, professional practice experiences and part-time jobs.
