UHD faculty and staff are encouraged to attend Friday's Staff Council Kick-Off and find out why this year's Staff Council is expected to be bigger and better than ever.

Employees who stop by A300 at 2 p.m. will learn about the revival of the Staff Council, changes to positions and bylaws, and the Staff Council's improved online presence. Attendees will also find out about the upcoming nomination process and Staff Council elections.

Interim senior vice president for Academic Affairs and provost Ed Hugetz and directors Lucy Bowen (Academic Projects), John Lane (Technology Learning Services), and Mary Torres (University Business Services) will speak at the event.

Light refreshments will be served, and each attendee will receive a UHD gift bag.
