Education Graduate Students Present Final Projects

Graduate students in the Master of Teaching program recently held a presentation event where they presented their capstone projects to the university community.

All students enrolled in the MAT program are required to complete a research project at the conclusion of their two-year course of studies. Students are matched with faculty who will guide them through the research process and grade their final projects. The final body of work, including a poster, is presented to urban education faculty and the university community and students must be prepared to defend and explain their research methodology and results.

For more information about the MAT program or the capstone projects, contact Katherine Jenkins, associate professor of urban education, at jenkinsk@uhd.edu.
