Dress for Success Houston Virtual Town Hall Scheduled on June 8

The University of Houston-Downtown is pleased to join Dress for Success Houston and other community partners for "Her Path Forward: Back to Work Dress for Success Houston" to discuss current challenges for the millions of women who have left the workforce since 2019. The event is scheduled at 6 p.m. June 8.

Since October 2019, women have left the workforce in unprecedented numbers and the City of Houston did not escape this fact. As a community organization supporting women in their career paths and self-defined success to economic independence, the organization has witnessed the effects of this first hand. Dress for Success wants to see women get back into the workforce, and in an effort to collaborate with the community, the nonprofit is hosting a webinar with three other local Houston agencies.

Dress for Success Houston wants to address this issue head on by removing barriers and supporting women in their career paths to reach self-defined success and economic independence. This webinar will also share information about available retraining and up-skilling programs and how to get involved.
