The time to watch dragons fly through the water of Buffalo Bayou is upon us again! The 12th Annual Houston Dragon Boat Festival will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Allen's Landing, 1001 Commerce St., in downtown Houston.

Watch boating teams compete in 500-meter races every 12 minutes and dancers perform traditional Asian dances for attendees. There will also be food and other activities for families. Admission is free.
