This just in Gator Community: The food court makeover will be ready on the first day of the fall semester.

Renovations to UHD's Dining Services operation are near completion. Improvements to Chick-fil-A and Create Salad Bar are expected to be completed and operations will resume on Monday, August 20.

Starbucks renovations will continue through the first week of classes and it is expected to open for service on Tuesday, August 28.

Temporary Starbucks Coffee Service at Sushic Location

The food service space currently occupied by Sushic, near the UHD Coffee House, will be temporarily converted to a coffee concept beginning August 20 until Starbucks re-opens August 28. The coffee venue-concept will serve espresso beverages, drip and iced coffee, pastries and baked goods. Fresh Sushi will be offered in the grab-and-go cooler at the One Main Food Court.

New Menu Offerings

Chick-fil-A will now offer grilled chicken nuggets, large waffle fries, side salads and Chick-fil-A fruit cups. Starbucks will feature expanded hot sandwiches and pastries. Create Salad Bar will offer expanded menu items as well.

These summer renovations will bring a revitalized brand experience at Chick-fil-A and Starbucks for UHD guests, and increase salad bar offerings while improving speed of service.
