Dept. of Criminal Justice to Host Top Houston Leaders for Panel Discussion

Next week, UHD's department of criminal justice will lead a panel discussion entitled, "Leadership in Criminal Justice: A Unique Organizational Culture." The event, to be held June 9, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Robertson Auditorium, will include a panel discussion by Houston leaders in criminal justice, including:

Ron Hickman, Harris County Sheriff

Troy Nehls, Fort Bend County Sheriff

Rick Hartley, Executive Director, the 100 Club of Houston

Marcia Jackson, Warden, Hightower Unit, TDCJ-ID

Henry Gonzales, Executive Asst. Director, Harris County Juvenile Probation

Vicki King, Inspector, UT Health Science/MD Anderson

Topics up for discussion will include:

Challenges unique to criminal and juvenile justice leaders

Core values in criminal justice organizations
