In conjunction with the Immigration Clinic at the University of Houston Law Center, UHD will host an information session from 11:30 a.m. to 1 pm. on Thursday, Sept. 13, in the Special Events Room, A-300, Academic Building.

During the session, students can meet with Immigration Clinic faculty to:

  • Learn the potential impact of the policy
  • Obtain assistance reviewing and interpreting documents
  • Receive consultation

Students are encouraged to use the information provided by UHD as a guide to interpreting information published by external media. Given the sensitive nature of this policy and its potential impact to students, the Office of Student Success and Enrollment Management is the official UHD responding office.

Liza Alonzo, Assistant Dean of Students will manage questions regarding the upcoming information session and other information related to the policy. Inquiries will remain confidential and students, faculty and staff can send e-mails to deferredaction@uhd.edu or call 713-221-8100 for additional information.
