Dean of Students Open Forums This Week

The search committee for the Dean of Students position has selected three outstanding candidates to invite to campus for further consideration. The committee reviewed over ninety dossiers and selected twelve for telephone interviews, nine of which were interviewed with three withdrawals. The three top candidates are listed below with their attached CVs.

In addition to meeting with pertinent constituents, they will meet with the University community in an open forum in which they will make a 10-15 minute presentation and address your questions. Presentations will address the following question: Given the unique characteristics of UHD (urban institution, commuter campus, diverse student body, etc.) and the need to increase retention and graduation rates, what is your vision for enhancing the campus environment so that students identify with UHD and are an active part of the University community?

Your feedback is important to this process. Emails will be sent out with each candidate's itinerary and an evaluation form attached. Please complete it and send it to Jackie Trahan at trahanj@uhd.edu .
